Little Designers
Sewing Workshop for Kids

Can you imagine being able to transform a piece of fabric into something you made entirely on your own?

In these workshops, we’ll learn by actually sewing, creating projects from day one and progressing step by step—no prior experience necessary.

We’ll start with simple projects to get familiar with the sewing machine, fabrics, and tools. Then we’ll gradually incorporate new techniques until we move on to patternmaking and sewing our own garments.

Classes will be held in very small groups, with a maximum of 6 people, so we can provide individual attention to each student and allow everyone to progress at their own pace.

Here, ideas go from paper… to fabric!

This workshop is designed for boys and girls who want to discover sewing in a fun, creative, and very hands-on way. No sewing experience is necessary: we’ll start from scratch and learn as we create.

First, we’ll get over our fear of the sewing machine and discover what all those tools on a sewing table are for. We’ll learn how to choose fabrics, measure, cut, sew pieces together, and achieve beautiful finishes.

So what are we going to make? Each project will teach us something new.

We’ll start by making bags, tote bags, pouches, toiletry bags, cushions, accessories, and small textile items. As we gain confidence, our projects will grow along with us, and we’ll begin to explore the world of patternmaking and clothing.

Stitch by stitch, we’ll learn to:

• Use the sewing machine safely and confidently

• Cut and prepare fabrics

• Make different types of seams

• Attach zippers, buttons, and other details

• Combine fabrics, shapes, and colors

• Follow simple patterns

• Customize our own designs

• Turn an idea into a finished project

The idea isn’t for everyone to make exactly the same thing, but rather for each student to experiment, create, and feel proud of having made something with their own hands.

Today it might be a bag… and who knows—maybe tomorrow it’ll be their first piece of clothing. ✨

Clothing Construction & Patternmaking Workshop for Adults

If you’ve ever thought, “I’d love to know how to make my own clothes,” this workshop is for you.

You don’t need to know how to sew or have used a sewing machine before. We’ll start from the very beginning, making sure we understand each step thoroughly and, above all, putting it into practice.

The first projects will be simple—like a bag, a toiletry bag, or an accessory—because they’ll be our best way to learn how to operate the machine, cut fabric correctly, sew in a straight line, insert a zipper, and achieve a clean finish.

And then… we’ll step it up a notch.

We’ll gradually delve into sewing and patternmaking: we’ll learn how to take our measurements, understand how a garment is constructed, read a pattern, and modify it to fit our bodies or our ideas.

From your first stitch to your first garment:

• Learn about and operate a sewing machine

• Discover fabrics and learn how to choose the right one for each project

• Learn different seams and finishes

• Cut out the pieces correctly

• Attach zippers, buttons, and closures

• Take measurements

• Understand and use patterns

• Modify and adapt a pattern

• Learn the basics of patternmaking

• Sew garments step by step

• Transform and customize clothing

• Develop your own projects

We don’t want to rush through making a garment—we want to understand how it’s made so that, little by little, you can do it yourself.

Classes will have a maximum of 6 people, so there will be time to answer questions, work individually, and tailor the instruction to each student’s level.

The goal is to go from thinking “I wouldn’t know how to do that” to being able to say:

“I made this myself.”

Wednesdays 18:00 - 20:00
