Machine Sewing Class & Guided Open Sew Session
Discover creative ways to get the most out of your sewing machine. In this hands-on class, you’ll learn how to create festive appliqué motifs and explore decorative techniques such as hand stitching, free-motion embroidery, and transforming plain buttons—embroidering over them or covering them with fabric—to refresh a favourite cardigan or jumper for winter.
After the class, stay on for a relaxed guided open sew and mend session. Finish your project, experiment further, or get help with a specific technique. Join Lucy as she works on her jumper-to-cardigan upcycle and pick up tips for repurposing winter clothing.
Materials and equipment bar included, plus access to two sewing machines.
